If you've landed on this page, it means you have a strong interest in advocacy, elections, representation and ensuring Brock has the best experience possible!
The Advocacy & Elections teams are looking for smart, capable, enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers to help execute amazing campaigns through peer engagement.
The Advocacy department is responsible for working on policy papers campaigns with our provincial lobby group, the Ontario Undergraduate Student Alliance (OUSA), and our federal lobby group, the Canadian Alliance of Student Associations (CASA).
Under the Advocacy department, the Elections team focuses on the three internal election periods at BUSU, as well as supports the municipal, provincial and federal elections campaigns.
What do Advocacy & Elections volunteers do?
Volunteers will help to execute the engagement part of the campaigns where you speak with students on the topics the Advocacy & Elections teams are working on.
If you enjoy having fun while talking with your fellow students on topics related to BUSU's advocacy work, we welcome your application to be a volunteer!
Volunteers will receive the proper training on the topics being promoted, as well as get access to great insight into BUSU's advocacy work. Many volunteers have gone onto to great leadership roles within the organization!
