BUSU's free tax clinic appointments are currently closed due to a large volume of requests.
Students still needing help with filing their Taxes can sign up with the CRA Free Tax Clinic.
The clinic takes place Saturdays and Sundays from mid-February to April 3. Appointment times will be arranged with the clinic volunteers via email. All appointments will be held virtually.
The clinic will be run by students with experience in submitting taxes with the Canadian Revenue Agency (CRA). All meetings will be held on Microsoft Teams through your Brock University subscription.
Once an appointment is booked, your information will be sent to the Tax Clinic team and they will contact you to arrange a meeting.
For those who are signed up and have been contacted by the organizer, here is what you will need:
- Social Insurance Number
- Government-issued identification
- T2202A or T2202 - Tuition and Enrolment Certificate, issued by Brock University
- Rent payment receipts, issued by your landlord or tenant management team
- T4 or T4a slips
