BUSU will host a free tax clinic again in 2024. BUSU will be seeking volunteers to assist with this program. You must be a student in the accounting program in the Goodman School of Business to volunteer. Please send your resume to rbauman@brockbusu.ca. Volunteers will be contacted for interviews in October 2023.
The clinic will be run by students with experience in submitting taxes with the Canadian Revenue Agency (CRA). All meetings will be held on Microsoft Teams through your Brock University subscription.
Once an appointment is booked, your information will be sent to the BUCSSA tax clinic team and they will contact you to arrange a meeting. The BUCSSA team are no longer taking new registrations.
For those who are signed up and have been contacted by the organizer, here is what you will need:
- Social Insurance Number
- Government-issued identification
- T2202A or T2202 - Tuition and Enrolment Certificate, issued by Brock University
- Rent payment receipts, issued by your landlord or tenant management team
- T4 or T4a slips
