Brock University Students’ Union (BUSU) is pleased to announce its new student executive team for the 2024/25 year.

Pictured above from left to right, is BUSU President, Anusha Pahuja, a fourth-year psychology student; Vice-President, Student Services, Esrea Ibrahim, a fourth-year medical science student; and Vice-President, External Affairs, Mark Chrabalowski, a fourth-year political science student. Also returning for a second term is Vice-President, University Affairs, Carleigh Charlton, a fourth-year political science student.

“On behalf of the new student executive team, we are honoured to represent the students of Brock and embark on this new journey together,” said Anusha. “Our team is dedicated to serving our fellow students with passion and commitment. Let’s create the next chapter in our student union’s legacy together. Go badgers!”

Each BUSU executive team member is appointed by an advisory committee of Brock students. These committees also work with the executives throughout their term to provide feedback and act as a sounding board for ideas.

In order to select the most qualified candidate for each position, hiring happens via a three-phase process: application, pitch, and interview, with the first two phases being completely anonymous.

The student executive team will work year-round to represent the students of Brock to the University, as well as municipal, regional, and federal government. They also work on their own projects to ensure the best student experience possible.
