Brock University Students’ Union & Niagara College Student Administrative Council to launch “Ride With Me” Day
On October 8th 2014 The Brock University Students’ Union (BUSU) and Niagara College Student Administrative Council (NCSAC) will be inviting local election candidates, University and College Administrators and other community stakeholders to live the life of a student using transit. BUSU & NCSAC have been advocating for a “Seamless Transit System” to be implemented in the Niagara Region and have delivered presentations to both local and regional governments in Niagara. The issue has been garnering great interest and support from a number of stakeholders and will remain at the forefront of the agendas for both BUSU and NCSAC. Local media is encourage to take part in the respective “Ride With Me” campaigns on October 8th 2014. Details for the advocacy event are listed below.
What: BUSU & NCSAC will hold a “Ride With Me” day. “Ride With Me” will be an informative 90 minute transit ride where students will share their transit challenges faced with members of the campaign.
Who: Niagara College Student Administrative Council (NCSAC) and Brock University Students’ Union (BUSU) have invited local election candidates as well as stakeholders in the transit discussion to participate in “Ride With Me”.
When: Wednesday, October 8th 2014. Specific departure times and routes are attached to this advisory.
Where: Departures from Niagara Falls Bus Terminal, Niagara College (Welland Campus), and Brock University (Schmon Tower)
