Hi Badgers. My name is Katie and I’m your candidate for the Board of Director seat on the Brock Press. As a third year Popular Culture student, I am passionate about communications and the importance of strong journalism. I am also a graduate of Niagara College’s Journalism-Print and Public Relations programs. The skills I’ve learned in both of these programs can be utilized for advancing the Brock Press within the Brock community and beyond.

I am also an experienced student leader. After spending two years on the Niagara College Student Administrative Council as the Executive Vice President and Vice President Communications, I know that student leadership is an important role. I do not take this responsibility lightly. I am excited to put my experience to work for you as your Brock Press representative. To quote Taylor Swift, “It's not enough to just want change. You have to go and make change by voting." Let's all be sure to vote in this BUSU election, but preferably for Katie.
