BadgerFest Big Ticket Concert Returns to Campus, Bigger and Better Than Ever
Students have made it clear; they want that concert experience back on campus. Brock University Students’ Union (BUSU) has listened and decided to give Badgers an even better kickoff to Brock University’s Welcome Week.
Taking place Sunday, September 6, 6 p.m. - 11 p.m. at Weather Station Field, BUSU is taking things up a level with an evening of live music, games and giveaways with major brand activations. Students are encouraged to arrive early, as the concert is only part of Sundays scheduled events.
Before the music begins, attendees can enjoy a pre-concert experience featuring games, activities and free swag from a lineup of popular name brands.
Participating vendors include:
- Haribo
- Kit Kat
- Liquid IV
- Cake Beauty
- Circle K
- Crispers
- Sour Patch Kids
The Big Ticket Concert, set to be one of the most memorable moments of BadgerFest, will feature two performances.
8PM - MIGZ
Opening the concert is MIGZ, a local DJ from Toronto who help shut down Isaac at BUSU’s “The Last Shot”.
9:30PM - MAX
Headlining the concert, MAX who had an inescapable smash with “Lights Down Low,” took over local radio stations which generated over half a billion streams globally, and went platinum in Canada.
“I’m really excited for the concert to come back to campus this year,” said Aaliyah Ariella, BUSU President. “The best moments in university come from the connections you make and the experiences you have outside of class, and BadgerFest really kicks that off.”
Badgers can expect BadgerFest favourite events Community Fair, Sexy Bingo as well as BrockTV’s Movie Night Under the Stars to finish off the week. BadgerFest will take place from September 5 – 9.
For more details for each event, visit the BUSU Website.
As always, Badgers looking to collect their Universal Bus Pass (UPass) can do so starting September 5 with Brock University’s Welcome Week events.
Badgers who will be visiting campus September 5 & 6 for the BUSU Open House, during Brock Welcome Weekend can skip the lines and collect their UPass at Union Station from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
UPass for the 2026/27 academic year can be collected September 8 – 18 on the 3rd floor of the Student Alumni Centre, in the retail space across from the BUSU Offices. Pick-up will take place Monday - Friday, 10 a.m. - 4 pm. September 21 onward, UPass stickers will be available at the BUSU Front Desk.
