Monday February 24th 2014 will mark the opening of the nomination period for the 2014-15 Brock University Students’ Administrative Council (BUSAC). BUSAC is a group of 35 elected/acclaimed undergraduate students representing each of the seven (7) academic facilities at Brock University. In addition to the academic seats, undergraduate students can get elected/acclaimed to seats representing off-campus students as well as residence.
BUSAC is structured and works very similar to a city council. BUSAC Councillors bring forward concerns, ideas and solutions from their respective area of representation to the council. BUSAC also serves as a decision body on a number of BUSU areas that affect student life such as club funding requests, internal capital improvements and expenditures, by-laws, political policies, and referendums.
This year there will be:
Nine (9) seats open for nomination and election in the Faculty of Social Science
Five (5) seats open for nomination and election in the Goodman School of Business

To gain a seat in any of the above faculties or areas, students must pick-up a nomination package at the BUSU reception desk and obtain a minimum of 25 signatures from undergraduate students in their faculty to be considered nominated for the position.
At the end of Nominations (Monday March 10th) students seeking nomination must attend the all candidates meeting on the night of March 10th.
