Fiona Seabrook (she/her) is BUSU’s President. As the BUSU President, Fiona serves as the representative for the undergraduate student union at Brock. She is dedicated towards expanding student support services, strengthening club engagement, addressing accessibility and affordability issues for students, and striving for overall student satisfaction. Fiona also extends support to the two Vice-Presidents in their endeavors.

A Note from Fiona

Hi, Badgers!

My name is Fiona, and I am incredibly honoured to serve as your BUSU President for the 2025/26 academic year! As someone who is deeply passionate about student life, I am stepping into this role with a commitment to representing your voices, advocating for your needs, and helping to shape your university career into a positive and empowering experience.

Like many of you, I came to Brock looking for more than just a degree – I came for community, personal growth, and the university experience. In all honesty, I faced many challenges during my university career. I’ve felt burnt out, completely lost, and unsure of what I’m doing or if I belonged; but through all of it, I learned how powerful it is to ask for help, to lean on your community, and to take up space – even when it’s hard. I have grown so much as a student and as a person here at Brock, and I want to make that growth possible for you too. Whether you’re thriving or navigating obstacles, know that there is space for you here. More importantly, know that you don’t have to have it all figured out – you just have to start, and BUSU is here to support your journey along the way.

I believe that real change happens when students come together. So, whether you’re a club leader, a first year finding your way, or someone who’s never gotten involved before – I encourage you to take up space, ask questions, and reach out. This is your university experience!

Here’s to a year of growth, action, and community. Let’s make Brock a school where every student can thrive.

With gratitude, Fiona Seabrook

P.S. My door (and inbox) is always open, and I’d love to hear about what matters to you – your questions, concerns and dreams for this year and onward. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me via email: president@brockbusu.ca
