Natalia Rodrigues
VPUA
Natalia Rodrigues is BUSU’s Vice-President, University Affairs. In this role, Natalia advocates for the concerns and interests of undergraduate students at the institutional level. She represents undergraduate students on the Brock University Senate, Brock University Governance Committee, and Brock Undergraduate Student Affairs Committee to ensure student voices are heard and reflected in various policies and campaigns.
As VPUA, Natalia oversees the management, creation, and delivery of BUSU services, such as the Universal Bus Pass (U-Pass) and the BUSU Health and Dental Plan. Further, as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of BUSU, she is responsible for signing cheques and invoices on a weekly basis.
Natalia grew up in Hamilton, ON, and is in her fourth year at Brock studying History of Art and Visual Culture with a minor in Geography. She has previously been involved with numerous internal and community advocacy and wellness initiatives, both at the Secondary and Post-Secondary School levels; at her high school, Natalia was Captain of the Justice League, Founder and Captain of the Breakfast Club food assistance program, and Student Council Spirit Representative; at Brock, Natalia has been an active participant in various events, and has served as Social Media Executive Member of the Brock Leaders Citizenship Society and Co-Chair of the groups Pandemic Wellness Initiative, and more arts and culture activities (stay tuned!). She is also a member of the International Golden Key Society.

Looking back, I am so grateful for my time at Brock so far, and for all the opportunities I have had to advocate for the wellness, interests, and concerns of my fellow students and community members; I have always been and will forever continue to be passionate for uplifting others in their journey, so I promise to ensure each and every student experience is prioritized in all of BUSU’s decisions.
