Shine Niagara

The Brock University Students’ Union (BUSU) is going to “Shine Niagara” on August 25th 2013.  BUSU has partnered with six (6) locations across the Niagara Region to raise awareness and collect donations for its 2013 Shinerama Campaign.  Brock students and volunteers will be hosting a number of charity BBQ’s and carwashes.  All the events will aim to raise donations during the “Shine Niagara” campaign.

Shinerama is the largest post-secondary fundraiser and works to support Cystic Fibrosis Research and Care. BUSU’s flagship event for Shinerama “Shine Day” will take place on Saturday September 7th and include over 800 students going into the Niagara community to raise money for the campaign.

BUSU is encouraging community members, organizations and groups to come to one of the six (6) “Shine Sites” on August 25th to get their car washed in return for a donation to the 2013 Shinerama Campaign.
