Brock Diyan Heeran (BDH) is Brock University’s official Giddha team, established to celebrate and promote Punjabi culture through the traditional folk dance of Giddha.

The club aims to empower Punjabi women by fostering teamwork, confidence, and cultural pride through artistic expression and performance.

The purposes of the club are as follows:

  • To create a supportive and empowering environment where Punjabi women can express themselves through the art of Gidha.
  • To promote Punjabi heritage and culture within the Brock community through performances, workshops, and collaborations.
  • To build leadership, confidence, and teamwork skills among members through regular practices, showcases, and competitions.
  • To encourage cultural exchange and inclusivity by engaging with other cultural and performance-based clubs on campus.
  • To represent Brock University at cultural events and competitions, showcasing the strength, grace, and spirit of Punjabi women.
