Our club is about raising awareness for people with disabilities that face accessibility barriers making it difficult for them to participate in certain activities. Therefore, it is a club that will share accessibility resources, discuss accessibility issues, have group talking sessions and most important have fun events where everyone can feel welcome. The events feature accessible trips, motivational speakers, shows from disabled groups and workshops lead by disabled groups and activities together with many of the clubs at brock. Because of so many hardships that people with disabilities face such as economic, social and environmental barriers, the goal will be to create an optimistic environment where everyone can make friends and participate in activities together. It is a fully diverse club that welcomes everyone regardless of whether you are ally (able-bodied), neurodivergent and disabled people.
