BUSU collecting non-perishable food items to support Brock students in need.

April 12 to 24, students can donate nonperishable food items in support of Brock University Students’ Union’s (BUSU) Food First program. Donations will be accepted at BUSU Front Desk and General Brock, International Centre Global Commons room, Brock residences, as well as Parkway Lofts and Foundry Lofts.

Students moving out of their residences for the year may have foods such as packaged noodles and canned goods leftover. All non-perishable food items can be donated and will go directly to Brock Students in need. Meat, tofu, fruits, vegetables, and toiletries will not be accepted.

BUSU’s Food First program also helps support Brock students experiencing food insecurity year-round by providing grocery store gift cards on request and hosting free food events, including full hot breakfasts and grab-and-go snack foods.
