Hi Badgers! 

My name is Nick Kester, and I'm running for Brock Senate. I'm in the 4th Year of my History degree, with a double minor in Medieval and Renaissance Studies and International Relations. 

As a mature student, coming back to Brock in 2022 was one of the more intimidating decisions I've faced. I can now say that it's also been one of the most rewarding. I've gotten the chance to make friends from across the world, enjoy experiential learning opportunities I never would have dreamed of, and become a part of the many communities that call Brock home.

If you entrust your vote with me, I’ll do everything I can to uphold that trust. The Brock Senate concerns itself primarily with academic policy, and faithfully acting as a student voice on the body would be my primary concern. In the ever-shifting learning environment we find ourselves in, I want to articulate the concerns my colleagues face, and how those perspectives should shape the University’s positions.
