Hi, my name is Aaron Mukendi, and I’m a fourth-year Business student. I’ve been actively involved in student leadership through roles in outreach and human resources, and I’ve also led a pro bono consulting project working directly with real clients. Through my time in these roles and as a student, I’ve seen how much decisions made behind the scenes shape a student’s journey, from the opportunities we receive to how supported we feel on campus. Serving on the BUSU Board matters to me because I want to give back to a community that’s shaped me and help improve the university experience for future students. I want to be someone who listens, speaks up when it matters, and helps turn student concerns into real actions in ways that students can actually feel in their day-to-day experience.
