I'm a 4th-year Bachelor of Arts ECON student. I transferred to Brock roughly 3 years ago, and I've absolutely loved being a student here. One of the aspects that really enticed me to join Brock was the human connection, which I felt was lacking at my previous university. I visited Brock once during reading week to visit a friend, and he gave me a tour and introduced me to students during that time. I fell in love with the environment and sense of belonging here, and made the decision to transfer so I can be around the people who made me feel so welcomed. I am currently the VP of external at IR Brock, a charity at Brock. It's my final year, I felt like I owed it to give some sort of an impact to the students here who made me feel so welcomed, and what better way to do that through being part of the BUSU and directly make decisions that can make life at Brock better for the students, as I believe that's the true intention of BUSU, we work for the students and always provide a way of making their university experience better.
