ELECTION UPDATE: Social Science Election

ELECTION UPDATE: Faculty of Social Science Election

Early Tuesday morning we were alerted to a discrepancy in the eligible voters list for the Faculty of Social Science.  We have discovered that the Faculty of Social Science election ballot was sent to all-undergraduate students at Brock which was an error on our part.  We have identified the issue, the cause and we now have a remedy.

We will be suspending the Tuesday voting for the Faculty of Social Science election.  We will be deleting the votes, and will not be opening the results.

We will then re-open the voting for the Faculty of Social Science on Wednesday March 26th at 12:01am with the proper eligible voters list, thus correcting the error.

In addition, we will also be adding a third voting day on Friday March 27th ending at 9:00pm to ensure that students in the Faculty of Social Science have had the same three (3) full days of voting time as the other faculties and elections.

We apologize for the error and we assure you that this has been corrected. We can also assure students that this was an isolated incident affecting only the Faculty of Social Science election.

Lastly if you have already cast a ballot in the Faculty of Social Science election, we ask that you watch your email and Vote Again starting Wednesday March 26th at 12:01am.
