We believe that together we can make a greater change for women of colour in STEAM at Brock.
We understand how hard it may be as a woman of colour to navigate the STEAM professional field which inspires us to create a space where we recognize intersectionality and provide holistic support and resources.
We want to lead networking, recreational, and professional events throughout the year that women of colour can access.
This can help teach about opportunities available in the Niagara region and throughout Canada as well as establish a positive and welcoming experience at Brock.
We aim to collaborate with and unite academic and minority advocacy groups on Brock to allow stronger interpersonal relations among women of colour and build a stronger feeling of belonging and empowerment.
