The Brock Stem Cell Club has long been known for its excellence in advocacy, collaboration, and swabbing drives whereby potential donor matches are swabbed to save a life! We want to invite you all to become leaders of Brock’s Stem Cell Club. The purpose of this club is to recruit Canadians as potential stem cell/bone marrow donors. Canada’s stem cell donor-database is then used to match potential donors to patients worldwide! As a collaboration between Brock undergraduate students and McMaster medical students, Brock Stem members take part in planning and hosting donor drives on campus, emphasizing the importance of blood donation and stem cell collection! The chance to save a life is as simple as a swab of the cheek! If you are an individual looking to enhance your skillset and experience for future professional applications or endeavours, then this is the perfect club for you.
