Standard First Aid is designed for those who require a more in-depth understanding of first aid.
This standard first aid course includes training in the legal implications of first aid treatment, spinal injuries, heat or cold injuries, bone and joint injuries, chest injuries, resuscitation techniques and medical emergencies.
This is a two-day course, held Jan. 21 and Jan. 22, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m at Isaac's, Student-Alumni Centre, Brock University.
It is available to any student at Brock University who is interested in learning first aid skills.
