Suicide Support and Resources

October 12th, 2018

The Brock University Students’ Union is deeply saddened by the recent tragedies at Burgoyne Bridge in downtown St. Catharines. We extend our sincerest condolences to the friends and family of those who died by suicide and all community members who continue to be impacted.

Students please know there are resources available if you are struggling with depression, anxiety, addictions, suicidal ideation and/ or other mental health concerns.

BUSU recognizes that particular marginalized communities are disproportionately impacted by suicide due to systemic oppression and inequities thereby making identity-specific counselling supports critical.

No matter who you are or what you’ve been through, reach out for help today.

On behalf of the Brock University Students’ Union,
Sincerely,
Aidan E. Hibma
