The BUSU Food First program is a service aimed to address the growing issues of food and health insecurity among Canadian post-secondary students. The program provides access to a variety of non-perishable food, fresh produce and hygiene products to those in need. Students may request a package of these items three times per semester, with a minimum of 3 days in between requests. This service is designed to assist with food and health accessibility and is not intended to be a primary source of food for any one student. Students may request a package using the form below.
The BUSU Food First program wishes to represent every student faced with food or health insecurities. The students of the Brock community lead incredibly complex, stimulating and challenging lives. We believe that access to basic and fundamental nutrition should never impede a student’s ability to succeed. The BUSU Food First program offers additional resources, counseling and assistance to ensure every student has the opportunity for success.
